Fun feature: QR code generation in DC-X

It’s an exception, but sometimes we do add a tiny feature to DC-X without a customer having asked for it, just for exploration… In that spirit, I have integrated a simple QR code display action that you can use to “beam” a DC-X document onto your smartphone.

We’re using the Google Chart API to generate the QR code (thanks to Lifehacker for the pointer).

Here’s what it looks like:

Open a QR reader app on your smartphone, point it to the QR code and you will be taken to a web page displaying the DC-X document. (On iPhone, I can recommend the simplistic, but free and fast QR Code Reader and Scanner.)
